Pro Driver of the Year - #11 Brian Wegner
In his first full season here at FSB, Brian took home two of our biggest titles. He held off Godzilla for the Pro Cup Driver's Championship by a single point. He dominated the Hungry Howie's 88 Winston Cup Series en route to that championship as well. Not to mention the Viper Motorsports Winston Cup Team Title in their first season of competition here. Brian was named our Rookie of the Year in Pro Cup. He averaged better than a 5th place finish in 46 league events. Not too shabby for a "rookie." He is also instrumental with the growth of our league with recruiting, helped set up "The FSB Indy 500," and helping other drivers all season long regardless of their team affiliation.

Most Improved Pro Driver - #17 Troy Null
Troy overcame a ton of issues this season to finish strong. Looking over his results it appears that somewhere around April, he turned it on. A different wheel, raw determination, and a much better connection led Troy to four top tens in Pro Cup down the stretch. He averaged better than 10th place over the final six races of the Pro Cup season. Even though he missed two events, he still brought the Bacardi Ford home in 14th place. Troy's comeback did not stop with the Pro Cup Series. The #17 Truck program had a pretty good Pro Season as well. He finished 6th in the final Pro Truck standings after a rough start.
This new post-season award shall be known as the "Blinky."
Named after one of our most determined racers ever.
T- Roy.
